What is Pinopressure?
Pinopressure is one of the methods of manual medicine. It was created in Poland, but it draws on the achievements of Far Eastern acupressure and acupuncture and Western reflexotherapy, as well as manual medicine techniques (manual therapy), various massage techniques and dry needling. The combination of all these techniques creates a comprehensive treatment method.
Pinopressure is a fully non-invasive method that involves pressing and stimulating specific points on the human body with pins, i.e. copper nails and blunt knives (torches). Importantly, the skin is not pierced during the treatment. The stimulation of the skin stimulates selected centers in the brain. Thanks to this, the muscular or ligamentous system receives signals from the corresponding parts of the brain, which leads to reflex relaxation of accumulated tensions and reduction of pain.
